Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the MOHASABA Technician app accesses, collects, uses, and protects data. The app is intended for authorized technicians and employees to manage work tasks, attendance, materials, and employment-related information.

1. Data controller and contact

MOHASABA by TopNet operates the app and its services. For privacy questions or data requests, contact Mahj_1991@yahoo.com.

2. Data we handle

• Account and work identity data, including username, display name, authentication token, role, and permissions.
• Device and notification data, including a device identifier, basic operating-system information, and a Firebase Cloud Messaging token.
• Precise location when attendance or location-based operational features are used, including branch-distance verification.
• Assigned tasks, task status and timestamps, notes, postponement and completion information.
• Photos the user chooses to capture or upload as task documentation.
• Work materials, inventory, leave requests, attendance summaries, and authorized salary, advance, or deduction summaries.

Biometric authentication

The app may use fingerprint or other biometric authentication provided by the device operating system. Matching occurs within the operating system. The app does not receive or store raw biometric data or biometric templates.

3. How we use data

• Authenticate the user and registered device.
• Display, update, and document assigned work tasks.
• Record attendance and verify proximity to a branch.
• Send task and operational notifications.
• Display authorized employment, inventory, and leave information.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot, and provide support.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell personal or sensitive data and do not use it for advertising.

Data may be made available only as necessary to:

• Authorized management and system administrators within the employer.
• Technical service providers required to operate the app, including Google Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications.
• Authorities when disclosure is required by applicable law.

5. Security

Data is transmitted between the app and the server over encrypted HTTPS. Authentication and access controls restrict access. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain data as needed to operate the service, maintain employment and operational records, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. User accounts are provisioned by an administrator; the app does not offer self-service account creation.

Users may request correction, account deactivation, or deletion of data eligible for deletion through their employer administrator or by emailing Mahj_1991@yahoo.com. Some records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, security, or legitimate employment-record purposes.

7. Permissions

• Location: attendance and location-based operations.
• Camera and photos: optional task documentation.
• Notifications: task and work alerts.
• Biometrics: local user authentication on the device.

8. Children

The app is a workplace tool for authorized technicians and employees and is not directed to children.

9. Policy changes

We may update this policy when app functionality or legal requirements change. The updated version and effective date will be posted on this page.
